By hook or by crook:  Kumar Gaurav hopes to impress in Kaante. The face might have aged, but it still has the same cute, chocolate-boy look. Meet, once again, Kumar Gaurav . More than two years after the late Mazhar Khan's eminently forgettable Gang, Gaurav is back with Sanjay Gupta in the slick flick Kaante (2002) . He is in good company. Kumar Gaurav Determined to Bounce Back. Kumar Gaurav , the chocolate hero of the  1980s , is at last coming out of self- imposed hibernation. And it is none other than his brother-in-law  Sanjay Dutt  who is helping to bounce back to Bollywood. In March, Kamal Amrohi's grandson Bilal confessed his love for Kumar Gaurav and Namrata Dutt's daughter Saachi and announced that he would marry her one day. Well, the couple who have been dating for the last four-and-a-half years, have tied the knot.   Namrata confirmed the news saying, "Yes, Saachi has married Bilal. He may not have followed in his father’s footsteps to box office glory but  Kumar Gaurav  shared a close camaraderie with his dad, late  Rajendra Kumar . Kumar Gaurav: Star of 1980s Dear God, how time flies. Kumar Gaurav , of melting, caramel eyes and bee-stung lips and the signature blue jeans and red jacket that he wore along with the coolest vibe we had seen a young hero sport in the 80s, for a while atleast, is in his mid 50s!  I watch him sometimes in YouTube grabs from films like Lovers , Romance , Naam , L ove Story and remember what it was like to be a teenager and collect his posters (Sun magazine had released his life-sized poster in two parts…denim clad legs first and then the torso!).  I remember how cathartic it was to cry every time he pouted at the camera with a heart-felt, “Yaad Aa Rahi Hai.” Decades later I saw him and his daughter Saatchi walk the ramp for a cause in Mumbai and let out a deep sigh of resignation.  Time changes and it changes people, unsparingly and without exception.
